The Sports Journalist Association of the Gambia, (SJAG), according to the letter, is delighted with the retention of Minister Ba, who last year attended the SJAG’s National Sports Award.
“We are delighted to hear the high regards, coupled with your great efforts during your last tenure in office that President Macky Sall was convinced to ask for your return. This is truly an achievement and calls for a special commendation,” Musa Sise, President of SJAG said in a letter to Minister Ba.
He added: “We are sure that under your great leadership, wisdom and guidance (Senegambian sports) will strive to much greater heights and achievements.”
Minister Ba has dedicated time and resources to further strengthen the bilateral ties between SJAG and ANPS of Senegal.
“We understand that, you wouldn’t have achieved this without the dedication and hard work, commitment and perseverance, your high sense of integrity and work ethics.
"You have managed to put Senegal in the Global sporting map and your legacy following the securing of the Youth Olympics, which you have described as a (Senegambian event) will live forever.
